HDWEBSOFT is hiring PHP Developers (Middle to Senior) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The role builds and maintains web applications using Laravel, WordPress, and Magento for global clients. At least 2 years of PHP experience and OOP knowledge required. HDWEBSOFT is a 150-person ISO-certified outsourcing company established in 2010.
About this role
We're looking for PHP Developers with solid experience building and maintaining web applications using modern PHP frameworks. You'll work on diverse client projects spanning e-commerce, CMS platforms, and custom web applications.
What you’ll do
- Code, implement, unit test, maintain, and troubleshoot web applications
- Work with project team members to ensure specifications are satisfied
- Establish the architecture of the web application when needed
- Write design, implementation, and technical documentation
- Help create prototypes and test applications where needed
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules
- Participate in R&D and knowledge-sharing activities
What we’re looking for
Must-haves
- At least 2 years of working experience in web application development with PHP
- Good experience with PHP frameworks/CMS (Laravel, WordPress, Magento, Symfony, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of OOP, Design Patterns, and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
- Understanding of protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SSL)
- Solid knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL
- Good English communication skills
Nice to haves
- Experience with Drupal or Prestashop
- Front-end knowledge (jQuery, React, Vue)
- Experience with cloud deployments (AWS, GCP)
- Aptitude to learn and understand new and emerging technologies
- Strong writing, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills
